Komín cafe

KOMÍN Cafe pleasant environment with selected Doubleshot coffee, daily fresh pastries and homemade goodies.

All this is surrounded by beautiful paintings by Karel Štědrý.

We participated in the project of the home café and bistro Komín in Říčany both in the design itself and in the complete furnishing.

The dominant feature is a spacious bar counter with corten sheet metal lining with a backlit “KOMÍN” logo.

We tried to create the atmosphere of a purely industrial space more pleasant by using solid oak wood.

This created, for example, a bar table on consoles around the column, a long massive table for 8 people, an all-wood bench and other atypical elements from our carpenter’s workshop.

Visitors can choose to sit on chairs, bar seating or comfort in upholstered armchairs.

The windowsill was also adapted for sitting.
