Furnishing – Architect Jan Bek, MSc www.bekarch.cz
As a subcontractor, we participated in this very interesting apartment furnishing.
It was a complete reconstruction of a 4 + kitchenette apartment and the overall layout has undergone changes. We created a full-fledged 3 + kitchenette from the apartment, consisting of two bedrooms and a spacious living room, which was created by combining the kitchen and room. We leveled the hallway and removed the unsightly corners. On the other hand, we tried to add some space to the bathroom and toilet.
As for the material solution, the entire interior is a combination of white and black.
All surfaces are matte. Apart from the white and black interior, only the concrete-imitating trowels in two shades complete the interior. The first lighter shade can be found in the bedrooms, on the dominant living room TV wall and in the hallway. Darker decor with hydrophobic finish can be found in the bathrooms. The floor is made of white polyurethane. Furniture made of perfect sense – super matte.
The investor’s requirement was absolute minimalism, which is why the project contains several atypical solutions, such as a hidden kitchen unit, which is located behind a sliding accordion door in the living room. Or a completely hidden walk-in closet in the entrance hall.
